QUALIFICATIONS OBJECTIVES

This Level 4 Diploma offers a concise, interdisciplinary introduction to Cyber Psychology, the study of how humans interact with technology, the internet, and virtual environments. The course blends core psychological theory with insights into digital behaviour, online communication, and the psychological impact of technology. It is designed to provide learners with a foundational understanding of the digital human experience, covering topics from social media to cybercrime.

The aim of this qualification is to :

Examine Digital Behaviour: Introduce core psychological theories and principles as they apply to human behaviour in online and virtual settings.

Analyse Online Interaction: Develop an understanding of the psychological processes behind online communication, identity formation, and social networking.

Identify Cyber Risks: Explore the psychological factors related to online vulnerability, including addiction, harassment, and the basic principles of social engineering.

Prepare for Progression: Provide the foundational knowledge and academic skills needed to progress to higher-level studies (e.g., Level 5, HND, or Degree) in Cyber Psychology or related fields.

  • Completed High school diploma or GCE (Advanced Level)

  • Minimum core of literacy, language, numeracy and ICT
  • Do not have a criminal background which might prevent them from working as a teacher with young people or vulnerable adults.
